From castle doctrine to the elements of self-defense and beyond, all issues will be covered. Included in the seminar is a question and answer session so come ready with questions.
Meet the Lawyer - Michael Truman
Michael was born and raised in Dayton Ohio. Introduced to guns at a young age by his dad and grandpa, he has carried that passion into his adult life. He graduated from Archbishop Alter High School and attended Miami University to obtain his undergraduate degree in accounting, 2010 cum laude. After graduation he enrolled at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. In law school Michael served as a staff editor on the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and was an active member of the Business Law Society. Michael earned his Juris Doctor in 2014 and began his career as an associate attorney in 2015.
Meet the Lawyer - Derek DeBrosse
Derek attended The Ohio State University, but his graduation was delayed because of a 14-month combat tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a member of the Ohio National Guard. After his service overseas Derek returned to Ohio, and earned his B.A. in Political Science. Immediately after graduation, Derek enrolled at the Regent University School of Law, where he served as Chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board, and earned his Juris Doctor in 2008. Derek has taught many legal seminars for Black Wing during the Concealed Carry courses.
