Building on the core skills from Level One, this course strengthens your proficiency and muscle memory with the goal of developing real-life skills for home and personal defense. The techniques you learn also translate seamlessly into competition and/or hunting applications, giving you a solid foundation you can apply in any direction you choose.

  • Effective use of a sling
  • Offhand shooting
  • Emergency reload drills
  • Seated position shooting
  • Ballistic impact effects
  • Introduction to low-light shooting

Defensive Rifle Level 2: Manipulations Class Details

Pre Requisite – Black Wing’s Defensive Rifle Level 1 course (or consultation)

Skill Level – Intermediate

Class Size – 14

Range – 3 hours (no classroom time, all range)

Ammo – 120 Rounds of chosen ammunition (NO STEEL AMMUNITION OF ANY KIND)

Cost – $125/person

Equipment

  • Users’ own rifle/carbine
    • Ex) Ar-15, Ak47
  • Pistol caliber carbines are acceptable 
    • Ex) Scorpion Evo
  • At least two mags for their chosen rifle platform
  • Hearing and Eye protection
  • Sling for their rifle with proper mounting hardware
  • Mag pouches or chest rig

*Chosen firearm must have sights
