Pistol Shooting on the Indoor Range
All indoor range packages are hosted in Black Wing’s private Range Suite.
All-Inclusive Package
- Minimum 14 people
- Reserves the range and attached lounge for up to 2 hours for pistol shooting.
- This package will include the range reservation, up to 14 gun rentals, eye and ear protection, and a Range Safety Officer to facilitate and assist. Add ammunition to this package to make it totally all-inclusive.
- Experience Level – Beginner to Expert

Al A Carte Range Rental
- Rent out the range! This option is for groups that will bring a lot of their own firearms and ammunition, mostly experienced groups. This al a carte pricing will be added to a tab and settled at the end of each event on one bill.
- Ideal for groups of 10 people or more.

Shotgun Shooting on the Outdoor Range
Trap
- What is Trap? Trap shooting is a beginner-friendly activity where your group rotates through stations on a single trap field and shoots at clay targets launched into the air. Participants take turns shooting as targets are thrown at varying angles, creating a simple, structured experience that’s easy to follow.
- Capacity of 30 people

5-Stand in the Pavilion
- This activity is shot on a covered Trap field and incorporates up to 5 additional machines and presentations, and is heated in the wintertime. A simple game of trap may be shot in this pavilion, or we can throw a mix of target presentations and gamify your experience.

Sporting Clays
Our most popular corporate event activity!
- What is Sporting Clays? Sporting Clays is a beginner-friendly activity similar to golf, where your group is split into teams and moves through a course of 10 or 20 stations, each station offers two unique target presentations. Targets may cross in front of you, spring upward, come from behind, or roll on the ground. This sport is shot in teams, which provides a competitive element.
- Groups can choose to shoot 50 targets (10 stations) or 100 targets (20 stations). Most groups complete 50 targets in about 2 hours and 100 targets in about 3 hours. We only recommend 100 target programs for groups of mostly experienced shooters.
- Our Sporting Clays Course has a capacity of about 240 guests per day, encourages friendly competition and networking, and caters to all experience levels, which is what makes it perfect for large corporate outings and fundraisers. Sporting Clays is often referred to as “Golf with a Shotgun” because it resembles the game of golf.

Al A Carte Shotgun
- Available for groups smaller than 15 that do not need a range safety officer, are mostly experienced, and will be providing most of their own equipment. Purchase as needed, and rack a tab.

For Fundraisers
Sporting Clays for your Fundraiser
- Our Sporting Clays Course has a capacity of about 240 guests per day, encourages friendly competition and networking, and caters to all experience levels, which is what makes it perfect for large corporate outings and fundraisers. Open the invite to shooters and novices alike, and come together for a great cause and a fun activity that doesn’t take all day!
- Your fundraiser is what you make it! We see everything from station sponsors, activity sponsors, expense sponsors, ticket raffle prizes, 50/50 raffle, side games, and more!
- Sporting Clays is often referred to as “Golf with a Shotgun” because it resembles the game of golf. Events hold the same comparison! There are lots of ways a golf outing compares to a sporting clay shoot, but Sporting Clays wins each time!
Event Space & Catering
Black Wing offers two classrooms, a banquet room with an attached patio, and a private range suite. Use these spaces to have a meal, meet, or host a happy hour!
Would you like to provide a meal while you are here? You are welcome to bring in your own catering, or we have a catering menu with options to fit an event at Black Wing perfectly. If you use our catering services, we will handle all the coordination and cleanup of services.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can we provide adult beverages?
We do allow the hosts of events to provide alcoholic beverages, which may only be consumed by those 21 and older and only after all firearms have been secured. However, there cannot be any purchase of alcoholic beverages- it must be free for your guests. - Can we bring our own firearms? Yes, you may. Chances are, not all attendees will have their own firearm, so the all-inclusive packages will still provide rentals for those that do not.
- Can we bring in our own catering? You got the hookup? We totally understand. You are more than welcome to bring in your own catering. However, if you order catering through Black Wing, we will handle every aspect including cleanup.
- Do you host events on the weekends? We can, however, we do not typically. Weekends have more limitations with staffing, range availability, and capacities. Please inquire.
- What are your other amenities?
On-site ice machine, large coolers for refreshments, cannon start, online liability waiver, golf carts, fire pit, etc. - What if it rains?
We shoot, rain or shine! However, for smaller groups, we can use our covered pavilion for outdoor shooting, or we have indoor options as well!
