Building on the concepts and skills covered in Introduction to Skeet, this class helps students develop a more consistent and efficient shooting program. Students will reinforce the fundamentals while building the skills, knowledge, and techniques needed to shoot with greater confidence and consistency. Whether your goal is recreational shooting or stepping into competition, this class will help take your skeet shooting to the next level.
Topics Covered:
- Setting “hold” and “look” points by station
- Adjusting “leads” by station to consistently break targets
- Adjusting “foot positions” by station
- Rules review for shooting in registered competition events
- Self-coaching techniques

Pre Requisite – Intro to Skeet Shooting
Skill Level – Intermediate
Equipment –
– Student’s personal shotgun (recommended o/u or semi auto) Side by side and pump not recommended.
– Ammunition
– Shell pouch or shooting vest
– Hearing and eye protection
– Chokes for your shotgun shoult be Cylinder bore, improved cylinder, and/or skeet
Classroom – N/A
Range – 3 hr
Ammo – 100 rounds of gauge appropriate shells (8 or 9 shot recommended)
