This course focuses on defensive handgun use in close-confined encounters, where most real-world concealed carry engagements occur within just a few yards. Students will develop the skills, techniques, and understanding needed to effectively deploy and fire a handgun from true concealed carry positions in high-stress, close-range situations.
All pistols must be carried in a concealed IWB holster for this course.
Students must complete Vital Pistol Skills Level 3 at minimum to take this course. Ported pistols prohibited for the safety of the end user and fellow students.
Must be 21 and older to take this class.

- Holster drawing techniques in confined positions
- Body positioning in close engagement distances
- Shooting from retention
- Understanding the threat distance

- Own semi-auto centerfire handgun or revolver
- Two-three mags and mag pouches, (speed loaders for revolver, 4 mags for single stack)
- Firearm case
- Strong-side INSIDE waistband holster (no soft-sided holsters permitted)
- Sturdy belt
